Privacy.
How we handle your data when you visit this website or write to us.
Controller
The controller for the processing of your data on this website is Phillip Schäfgen, Viersen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, reachable at ps@cabitree.com. The full address is stated in the legal notice.
Principle
We are sparing with data. This website collects only the data technically required to operate it, plus the data you tell us yourself when you write to us.
Visiting the website (server logs)
When you open a page, your browser transmits technical data the server needs in order to deliver it: the IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referring link and details of browser and operating system. This data serves secure and stable operation and is deleted after a short time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning service pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Hosting
This website runs on servers in Germany, operated via Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider governing the protection of your data. The data remains within the European Union.
Fonts
The fonts on this website are served from our own server. Opening a page does not establish a connection to an external font service (such as Google Fonts); your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process the details in your message, your email address and its content, in order to handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry and, where a contract is involved, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We keep the message for as long as the matter requires and delete it afterwards.
Data-sparing and tracking-free
This website works without ad networks and without cross-site tracking. We do not analyse your behaviour and do not build profiles. Should we introduce anonymous reach measurement in future, we will amend this policy beforehand and obtain your consent where required.
Cookies
On these information pages we set only technically necessary cookies, and only insofar as they are needed for display. Access to the TreePass platform, which is separate from this website, is covered by the notices provided there.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest. A message to ps@cabitree.com is enough for any of these requests.
Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Changes
We adapt this policy whenever the technology of the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here is the one that applies.
