From the workshop to material development.
CABITREE grew out of a practical question from joinery: how can wood-based panels be used more lightly and more intelligently?
I trained as a joiner. The idea for CABITREE came from daily work with panel materials and one simple question: why is weight and material use so often taken for granted?
That became my work on lightweight construction and new wood-based material concepts.
Today I keep developing CABITREE in exchange with people from crafts, industry and research. In parallel I examine where digital origin and material information creates real benefit.
