Speed networking with Wirtschaftsförderung Viersen

Viersen is where CABITREE is based — and on 30 April 2026 we took part in the “Experts & Founders” speed networking event of Wirtschaftsförderung Viersen, the business development agency of Viersen. The format is as simple as it is effective: founders meet experienced practitioners from business, consulting and finance in short, tightly timed rounds.

For us it was the opportunity to present CABITREE where the company is at home. Many conversations revolved around practical founding questions: legal form, financial planning, first customers. Others were about the substance — what a digital proof for wood and land can deliver, and who needs it first.

Formats like this do not replace customer conversations, but they do something else: they anchor a young venture in its region. Knowing the business development agency at your own location, having short paths to advice and networks — in a founding phase, that pays off more than once.

We left the evening with a handful of new contacts and some very concrete homework. The exchange with Wirtschaftsförderung Viersen has continued ever since — and we are certain it was not the last event of this kind on the Lower Rhine.
