TreePass is running in pilot operation

Since early June, TreePass has been running in pilot operation — available at treepass.cabitree.com. What used to be concepts and test environments is now a system managing real land on a server in Germany.

What the pilot can do today

Getting started is deliberately simple: create a plot, draw it on the map or import it as a GIS file — no prior project setup required. From then on, TreePass keeps watch alongside you: satellite monitoring based on Sentinel-2 and Landsat data shows how the area develops. On-site samples are recorded with GPS-tagged photos, and weather data serves as a cross-check.

The core sits underneath: every monitoring entry and every attachment flows into a hash chain. Later changes do not go unnoticed — the documentation is tamper-evident, and that is exactly what anyone can verify for themselves. At the end stands an export that lets external verification bodies retrace the data efficiently. One thing matters here: we do not issue certificates. TreePass delivers the audit-ready data foundation — the assessment stays with independent verifiers.

And honestly

It is a pilot. We keep building, visibly, week by week, and some things will still change. We will only call it finished once a verification body confirms it.
