BLOOM 2026: the Zukunftsforum in Mönchengladbach

In early July, Mönchengladbach hosted the BLOOM 2026 Zukunftsforum: two days on how cities, business and construction need to change. CABITREE was there, differently than first planned.

Rather than with a stand of our own, we took part through the workshop on healthy indoor climate, to which WFMG, the business development agency of Mönchengladbach, had invited us, and otherwise spent the forum as visitors.

The workshop matched the topics we work on. It looked at how materials and room design influence wellbeing indoors, with perspectives from research and practice. For a material under development that could also be used indoors, these are requirements we need to know.

We took away new contacts in the building and health sectors, and the impression that healthy indoor spaces have arrived as a topic in the region.
