CABITREE pitch at the WFMG meetup in Mönchengladbach

On 22 April 2026, CABITREE took the stage at the meetup of WFMG, the business development agency of Mönchengladbach. The format brings together founders, companies and institutions from the region — short pitches, followed by time for conversations.

In a few minutes we explained what CABITREE does: documenting wood and land in a way that ends in proof third parties can verify — from the paulownia-based material to the TreePass software.

The response

The resonance surprised us in the best way. The audience asked concrete questions about material, monitoring and business model, and a series of conversations followed that went on into the evening. The local press signalled interest as well — for a project at this early stage, not something to take for granted.

Especially valuable was an invitation that came directly out of the evening: to take part in a workshop on healthy building and indoor climate at the BLOOM Zukunftsforum in the summer. Exactly the kind of connection a young venture needs — topics where our material has something substantive to contribute.

Mönchengladbach and the Lower Rhine region remain the centre of our network. The next dates in the region were already in the calendar.
